Designing furniture is an endeavor Peter began in his 20’s. Hours of hands on carpentry bring a realization of design opportunities that are not readily apparent on paper or screen. In furniture making, as in architecture, success comes with design and construction supporting one another. One discovers possibilities in making.

Ceramic teas bowls were made by Peter while teaching art at Springville High School in Iowa.

Knit Sweaters & Hats designed and knit by Sylvia Frank. Using Powercad, a computer drafting program, patterns are laid out showing dimensions, gauge, knitting pattern and yarn colors.
